McHenry County Democratic Rally Draws Small Turnout

After a night of Republican debate-watching parties, McHenry County Democrats held a torchlight rally Thursday evening in Woodstock Square.  Rain was moving through the area, though, so only about 30 people, including candidates in November showed up.

March organizer Patrick Murfin was disappointed but not discouraged.  "We average about 43 percent (in McHenry County voting).  We've even had better, depending on the candidate.  I think we'll do well this year."

Fourteenth District Congressman candidate Dennis Anderson was the headliner at the rally.  He's been complaining this week that incumbent Randy Hultgren's been ducking debates with him charging he's skipped four candidate forums and left a fifth before the audience could ask any questions.

Other candidates at the rally included County Board candidates Paula Yensen from LITH, District 5, and Scott Summers from Harvard, District 6.

Editor's note:  Apologies; Camera autofocus acting up.

You know what the real joke is?
The backwards bigots that are leading the GOP right down the toilet.
Laugh it up Bubba.
You are part of a frightened, paranoid and ignorant clan and you are a dying breed.

By the way... Romney cannot post here because he cannot prove that he is NOT a robot.

Joe Biden and Barack Obama are the perfect running mates. Biden can't answer even the simplest question, and Obama has three different answers for every question asked.
