Fender Huntley Fundraiser Precedes Debate Watch Parties

The night of the first 2012 Presidential Debate may not have been the best choice for a fundraiser for Grafton Township Supervisor candidate Pam Fender in Huntley.  "I didn't plan it this way," she said.  "I had this set up before the debate was even scheduled."

About 40 people stopped by the event including State Rep. Mike Tryon and D158 Board members Don Drzal and Kim Skaja.  "I think that's pretty good," said Fender.  "I've never done this before."

So how much money do you have to raise to run for Supervisor?

"I don't know," said Fender.  "Probably not enough for robocalls but I wouldn't do them, anyway," she said.

In the pic:  Pam Fender's Thursday fundraiser was billed as the 20th anniversary of her 39th birthday.
