A Route 47 Interchange construction crew accidentally severed a power line Wednesday knocking out traffic signals from Del Webb Blvd./Oak Creek Parkway to the Tollway and darkening businesses and homes in that area. The power cable snapped cable at around 9:30 am but ComEd crews repaired it and had restored power to most locations within a little over an hour, according to Huntley Police.
