A fleet 15 year-old Woodstock runner, Wyatt Johnson, broke the tape at the first Teagan's Run 5K race through Lion's Gate subdivision to open Day Two of Huntley's Fall Fest celebration Saturday. Huntley's 41 year-old Matt Melendy was just behind him, though, and so was 33 year-old Todd Graba.
Elgin's Jen Roser was tops among female runners, 13th overall, followed by Huntley's Deena Snell and Algonquin's Ashley Sekula in what's intended to be an annual event to benefit the local Opening Doors With Teagan Foundation to support children with cancer and their families.

In the pic: Seven year-old Huntley cancer survivor Teagan Haniszewski got up very early for a little girl Saturday to tell the runners for the first-ever Teagan's Run, "Thank. You."
