Run For The Bear Race Against Cancer Sunday At Algonquin Eastview

Pre-registration's over but race-day registration will start at 6:30 am Sunday for the 18th annual Run For the Bear 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run at Algonquin's Eastview Elementary School.  The popular event's a fundraiser for the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation to remember
eight year-old Eastview student Barrett "Bear" Krupa, who succumbed in 1993.

First 500 registrants will receive T-shirts and race bags and there's a free Pancake Breakfast for all participants.  Signups will be $35 for adults,  $25 for children 11 and under.
