Seventy six trombones didn't lead the big parade Wednesday but there were, by FEN's count, at least four three-valve tubas in the van of Huntley High School's 2012 Homecoming Parade. It took about half an hour for the procession, including both the HHS and Heineman/Martin middle school bands, homecoming queens and the players, to wend their way from Ol' Timers Park to Huntley Village Hall.
The 2012 HHS Red Raiders Homecoming Game against Dundee-Crown's Chargers will be Friday at the High School with the Soph kickoff at 5 pm, the Varsity at 7:15. At half time of the Varsity game, the HHS Homecoming Court will be presented along with their parents.
