Hubert A. "Hub" Adams, 86, of Huntley, died Thursday. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at DeFiore Jorgesen Funeral Home, Huntley and Monday from 9 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntley. Internment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Adams was the husband of Rose Marie Adams, nee Montalto/Ginocchio, and the late Elizabeth Adams, nee Tholl. He is survived by children, Michael (late Linda), Peter (Sarah), Kathryn (R. Stuart Edwards), Ann (Mark Mlinar), and Nancy (Jeff Braddock); stepchildren, Joan (Peter) Snisko, Carol Bowe, Susan (Harold) Davis, Diane Ledet, Donald (Nina) Ginocchio, Linda (Bill) Christie, Robert (Michele) Ginocchio, and Charles Ginocchio, and grandchildren, Katherine, Levi, Nell, Sally, Eva, Gregory (Ilana), Jennifer (Ryan), Brooke and Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Community Foundation of Marshall County, (Hubert A. Adams Memorial Fund), Marshalltown, IA, or the St. Vincent DePaul Society in care of St. Mary’s Church in Huntley.
