James Bachi, 90, of Huntley died Saturday at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Bachi was born April 2, 1922, in Missouri Valley, IA, the son of John and Elizabeth (Fodor) Bachi. On April 15, 1978, he married to Lorraine E. Kramer. He is survived by his wife; his granddaughters, Hillary and Alexandra Tarr, and his brother, William of Elgin. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis, John and Steven, and his sisters, Rose and Betty Jane.
