Obituaries

Armand Ferrini, 75, of Sun City, Huntley, died peacefully Thursday at his home. A visitation will be held today from 3 to 7 pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Ferrini was born September 29, 1936, in Chicago, the son of Armand and Sue (DiChiarro) Ferrini.  In 1958 he married Mary Koch. He is survived by his wife; his children, Beth (Kevin) Waldman, Diane Ferrini, Mike (Jeanne) Ferrini and Tom (Mary Rybowiak) Ferrini; his grandchildren, Brian (Elise), Eric, and Sarah Waldman, and his brother, Joseph (Darina) Ferrini.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary St. Vincent DePaul Society or Hospice of Northeastern Illinois.

Catherine Bosco, 86 of Crystal Lake died peacefully at her home Friday.  A visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, Huntley, and Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntley, from 9:00 am until a funeral Mass at 10:30. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Bosco was born April 10, 1926, the daughter of Vito and Constance DeSimone.  She married Angelo James Bosco. She is survived by her children, Jim (Bonnie) Bosco, John (Rose) Bosco, Bobby (Denise) Bosco, Joey (Lisa) Bosco, Connie (Bob) Patinella, Mary (Sal) Canella; by her 21 grandchildren,  Angelo, Robert, Stephanie, Erica (Danny), John (Monica). Joseph (Gina),Cathy, Dina, Michelle, Robbie, Gianna, Michael, Lindsey, Anthony, Alissa, Christen, Lauren, Gina, Francesca, Isabella and Sofia, and by her sister, Theresa (Salvatore) Battaglia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, John F. DeSimone.
