A release Thursday warned motorists will see new pavement markings being placed on the new westbound lanes but not to be guided by them since they lanes are still closed. "The markings are to prepare for the traffic switch on Monday," it read. "Please pay attention to the new signs and pavement markings that will be in place, especially when turning onto Rakow Road from the side streets."
Rakow construction is now about 2/3 complete according to the latest report, with contractors still shooting for project completion late this Fall.
