Police Blotters

The filing of charges is not proof of guilt. A defendant charged is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the state’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

1012 HRS 1200 HEARTLAND GATE (KEN CARPENTER PARK). FOUND ARTICLE A wallet.
2110 HRS 1000 BLOCK OF BRITTANY BEND. DOMESTIC BATTERY. Wife vs. Husband. One prior. FAIL TO FILE.
2329 HRS 200 BLOCK OF INDIAN TRAIL. BATTERY. Male vs. Male. FAIL TO FILE.

August 20
12:43pm Gutekanst, Kimberly A., DOB: 08/28/93, of 4460 Heron Drive, Lake in the Hills and Rossi, Teresa A., DOB: 07/09/93, of 10124 Compton Drive, Huntley, were both charged with Retail Theft.  Both were taken into custody at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road.  Both were released on a Notice to Appear with a court date of 09/26/12 in Algonquin.
August 23
11:04am A 17 year-old male from Carpentersville was charged with Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol.  He was taken into custody at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive.  He was released on a Notice to Appear with a court date of 09/26/12 in Algonquin.
