Obituary

William C. Gracik, 51, of Algonquin died Thursday in Barrington following a lengthy illness. A memorial gathering will be held from 6pm until the time of the memorial service at 7 today at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, Huntley.

Gracik was born January 2, 1961, in Detroit, the son of Francis and Barbara (Miller) Gracik. He is survived by his children, Nichole Marie, William Charles Jr., Jacob Wilson and Jessica Ann, and their mother, Carolyn Gracik, all of Algonquin; his parents of Tawas, MI and his siblings, Mary (John) Leatherman of Shepherd, MI, Jack (Elise) Gracik of Elk River, MN, David (Julie) Gracik of Sterling Heights, MI, Glenn (Gina) Gracik of North Pole, AK, Theresa Gracik of Ann Arbor, MI, Judy (Mike) Whalen of Spring Lake, MI, Steve (Lisa) Gracik of Elk River, MN, and Sue (Denny) Wyman of Dearborn, MI.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Light of Christ Lutheran Church, Algonquin.
