Obituaries

Harry F. Westerberg, 91, of Huntley died at his home Friday following a short illness.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm  with a service at 7 pm Monday at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, Huntley.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.

Westerberg was born October 16, 1920, in Chicago, the son of Carl and Lillie (Dalof) Westerberg.  He married Lorraine Voelker on Dec. 27, 1948. After her death, he met Christel Draeger in 1990 and the couple moved to Huntley in 2001.

He is survived by her; his sons, Paul L. (Julia) Westerberg and James W. (Donna) Westerberg; his daughter, Ann V. Westerberg, and two grandchildren, Michael S. (Jen) Westerberg and Leslie Westerberg.  He was preceded in death by his wife and his sister, June Merle.

Memorials may be to the charity of the donor’s choice.
