New Federal Child Sex Charges Against McHenry Deputy

McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren was unavailable for comment this morning after Tuesday's arrest of Sergeant Gregory M. Pyle on new federal child sex charges.

Pyle has been on paid leave since a McHenry County warrant went out on him for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in January. Pyle was arrested Tuesday and is being held until a preliminary and detention hearing in Rockford Friday.

According to an FBI complaint and affidavit against Pyle alleging aggravated sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children, a man being investigated for kid porn near Kankakee  had images received from Internet screen names investigators were able to connect to Pyle's phone number. According to the affidavit when the victim in the pictures was identified and interviewed he said Pyle had molested him "on multiple occasions" from the time he was eight years old.

Tuesday's complaint and court proceedings weren't retrievable from the U.S. Court electronic records base until this morning. The complaint and affidavit can be read here now but, be warned, they are EXTREMELY offensive: http://www.scribd.com/doc/102938961/Pyle-Complaintfederal

Now that I read the complaint, I wish I could "un-read" it. Troubling...

Unbelievable that this guy is still getting paid since January according to the article. Stop the pay, and if he would somehow be proven innocent, then give him back pay.

Not sure he was entitled to anything. Nygren bs. It was hush money. He did go on vacations.
Seipler was fired for fudging a warning (never falsified a ticket as Nygren claims).
He was fired and no benefits (sick days, vacation or insurance).
Pyle was a supervisor and not in the union. Should have been brought in front of Merit Commission and fired. They continually canceled meetings and therefore Pyle was not on an agenda. More of Nygren shell games. All of the people (rubber stamps for Nygren) should be REMOVED. They are useless and do not serve the public well.

Every one of those Merit Commission Members should hang their head in shame;they knew what was going on and did nothing. Let's see their names again, lest we forget.
