LITH PD Offers Safety Seminar For New College Students

Going off to college has changed a lot since the days of George H. Fitch's "Good Old Siwash" stories in the Saturday Evening Post. Hence, The Lake in the Hills Police Department will present a seminar Thursday at 7 pm on college safety, 2012-style

"Vulnerabilities may exist," reads a LITH PD release in masterful understatement.  A few to be covered: safety precautions, protecting property and drug and alcohol consumption. The presentation will be held at the LITH PD Safety Education Center, 1109 Crystal Lake Rd. on August 9, 2012 at 7pm.
