HHS Sports Kickoff Shows New Red Raiders Friday

Athletes, cheerleaders, coaches and fans gathered Friday for the Red Raider Sports Kickoff at the Huntley High School stadium field.  The event, intended to be annual, subsumed the usual Red and Black football scrimmage in a celebration to build spirit for all HHS sports.

Even so, the pigskin pack drew the most attention.  New head football coach John Hart running the boys through scrimmages said, "I've never had a group of players who more prepared or more hungry."

Superfan Mike Lyp's been watching their progress this Summer and agreed.  "This isn't like last year.  'Oh, Coach, I hurt my thumb and I can't play.' These guys are ready."
