Algonquin Family, Neighbors Fight Fire With Garden Hose

Algonquin Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District firefighters put out a garage fire early Monday evening that an Algonquin man and his neighbors had been fighting with a garden hose. One person was injured before the District crew arrived at 1950 Cloverdale Lane and was taken to Sherman Hospital for treatment. Investigators this morning said they still haven't determined the cause of the fire.  Damage they said was estimated at $5000.
