Victim Identified In Saturday Police Standoff

The McHenry County Coroner's Office Friday confirmed that an Algonquin man who barricaded himself in a home on Glacier Parkway Saturday and then took his own life was the homeowner, Kevin Goldrick, 53.  Police would not comment on the case and a Coroner's hearing hasn't been set yet. However, an examination of court records reveals that the Goldrick's home was foreclosed six weeks ago and a knowledgeable source told FEN Goldrick was distraught at the impending loss.
