The Algonquin Township Document Shredding event Saturday at the Township complex on Route 14 only disposed of about 1,400 pounds of private paper materials Saturday. "I think it was a little hot for most people," said Road Commissioner Bob Miller. Undeterred the Road District has a second free shredding event scheduled at the Township Sept. 8.
