Quinn Lambastes Offshoring At Freeport Rally

Governor Pat Quin was in Northern Illinois last week trying to protect Illinois jobs, he said.  Quinn stood with workers at a Freeport manufacturing plant to urge Congress to pass the Bring Jobs Home Act.  Quinn and 11 other governors support passage of the act which encourages companies to hire American workers. Sensata Technologies, an international company that manufactures auto sensors and employs around 170 men and women in Freeport, recently announced plans to close the plant and move the jobs overseas.

For those of you keeping score at home, Sensata was acquired by Bain Capital (of Mitt Romney fame) and they're doing what the do best, destroying US jobs/families/communities while making themselves rich. Mitt Romney and his vulture capitalist pals at Bain are exactly what's wrong with the business community.
