Obituaries

Cathy Ann Whiting, 39, of Huntley, died peacefully Tuesday in Park Ridge following a battle with cancer.  A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Huntley, and the family will greet friends from Noon until service time .

Whiting was born January 10, 1973 in Hoffman Estates, the daughter of Gerald and Carol (Feddersen) Colby.  She married Brian M. Whiting on September 7, 1996. She is survived by her husband, her children, Joshua and Sydney and her mother, all of Huntley; her brother, David Colby of Sioux City, IA, and her grandmother, Cecilia Feddersen of Tomah, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jack H. Marston II Melanoma Fund, Glen Ellyn.
