D300 Stuff The Bus For Homeless Back To School Saturday

Only a few days are left to get ready for District 300's Stuff The Bus event to help the District's more than 250 homeless students get a good start on the new school year.  From 9 am to 3 pm Saturday, a D300 bus will be parked in front of Walmart on Randall Road in Algonquin to collect donations of folders, notebooks, loose leaf/filler paper, pencils, pens, scissors, glue sticks, rulers, crayons and gender neutral backpacks.

Supply donations may also be dropped off at the front desk of the D300 Central Office in Carpentersville from 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday.  Checks to D300 Education Services, 300 Cleveland Ave., Carpentersville IL 60110 are also welcome. A stuffed backpack costs about $23.
