Algonquin Lake In the Hills Fire Protection District investigators haven't determined yet what set off a fire Saturday morning that consumed a wooden deck behind the home at 1426 Lowe Drive in Algonquin . A neighbor reported the blaze to firefighters who evacuated the single-story home and extinguished the burning deck.
Cary, Fox River Grove and Carpentersville Fire Departments also turned out to help.
