LITH PTA Taking Orders For Flower Fundraiser

Lake in the Hills' Chesak/Martin PTA is taking orders for their fifth Annual Flower Sale offering locally grown baskets, flats and potted plants in time for spring planting and Mother's Day   through April 23 for pickup May 9.

The group's annual Flower Sale was started as a means to fund beautification projects and to improve the schools' campus setting.  Proceeds from past flower sales have provided the money to plant dozens of trees and shrubs.  CMPTA President Dana Wiley said, "I think it's by far the greenest and most gorgeous campus, but I am a bit biased."

Ten-inch baskets are $14 and flats of 48 flowers are $13. "We are pleased to be able to offer 2007 prices with tax included," said Wiley.  The group's flower order page is here: http://www.cmpta158.org/Beautification_Flower_Sale.html
