Grafton Township Holds Another Non-Meeting

Grafton Township Trustees didn't meet again at a Special Meeting called Monday to handle everything that wasn't dealt with at the regular meeting they didn't attend last week.

Monday's agenda included entries submitted by Trustee Rob LaPorta. Their absence from the previous meeting agenda was, apparently, the reason for trustees' absence then.

Two more township meetings have been set for Wednesday. One, called by Supervisor Linda Moore, is scheduled at the Huntley Park District at 7 pm.  The other called by LaPorta and Trustee Betty Zirk is set for 7:30 pm at the Park District.

Meanwhile McHenry County Blog publisher Cal Skinner is reported to have filed a complaint that township trustees violated the state Open Meetings Law claiming they met without public notice to agree to boycott last week's meeting.   McHenry County Chief Assistant State's Attorney Tom Carroll confirmed receipt of the email complaint and said his office was investigating it.

Pete,
The 7 pm meeting is called to be held at the Huntley Park District not the Township Conference room.
