Algonquin's Board of Trustees in a brief session Tuesday gave final approval for a new Chase banking facility and drive-through at the village's Oakridge Court on Randall Road.
Also approved was an 11-foot extension to a cell tower at 2040 W. Algonquin Road that was expected to improve phone reception in the area.
Trustees also authorized what will probably be a heckuva deal on four brand-new but obsolete fire hydrants declaring them surplus and authorizing the village's Public Works Department to sell them somehow somewhere.
